CHSL is committed to maintaining and continuously improving health and safety standards across its units and aims to comply with local legislation and requirements through four key pillars, ensuring that all stakeholders integrate these standards into daily operations.

Donation Policy
Each unit, in consultation with Sustainability Committee representatives, establishes and reviews appropriate standards and procedures, as required, to ensure the safety and health of all team members, service providers, guests and other relevant stakeholders.
At Constance Group, we are committed to creating a lasting and positive impact on the communities surrounding our hotels. Our approach to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) extends beyond philanthropy; it is an investment in sustainable development that fosters growth and well-being. Fondation Constance is responsible for implementing Constance Group’s CSR programmes through its CSR Committee. The latter reports to the Corporate Governance Committee, which reviews and recommends the approval of Fondation Constance’s annual programme to the Board and monitors its performance on a quarterly basis.
Our donation policy is designed to ensure responsible and impactful fund allocation. The Group’s contributions adhere to the following principles:

Each unit ensures active monitoring of risks and unsafe conditions through regular worksite inspections, risk assessments, timely incident reporting, adherence to safety rules and health surveillance programmes. These constitute essential management tools for maintaining a robust workplace health and safety framework.

Each unit ensures that all team members are provided with adequate information, instructions and job-specific training. Team members receive refresher training on workplace safety rules and emergency management on a yearly basis, following unsafe acts or behaviours, or after the occurrence of a work-related incident.
We strive to uplift individuals and communities, both locally and nationally, by providing opportunities that drive meaningful change.
– Meaningful Impact: Ensuring that contributions lead to real, measurable and sustainable improvements.
– CSR as an Investment: Positioning CSR as a strategic investment rather than charity, driving long-term benefits for both society and business. While Fondation Constance supports high-impact national projects, its primary focus remains on initiatives within the regions where the Constance Group operates. This local approach strengthens our engagement with Stakeholders and maximises the effectiveness of our efforts.

Each unit actively engages with stakeholders to support the evaluation of the effectiveness of the health and safety programme and promote awareness and participation.
Environmental Stewardship
We actively support projects that protect and enhance the natural environment.
During the year under review, the Sustainability Team focused on protecting the health and well-being of team members while ensuring service continuity for guests. The continued improvement of our Performance Management System has contributed to strengthening our health and safety culture among team members, who are encouraged to promptly report safety concerns and incidents. These are followed by thorough investigations to identify root causes and implement appropriate preventive measures. Our commitment to health and safety supports not only the well-being of our team members but also fosters a positive work environment that contributes to operational excellence and aligns with international standards, reflecting our dedication to providing a safe and supportive workplace.
