Action for Integral Human Development (AIHD) - Skills for life AIHD – Skills for Life is a programme that helps young children in Mauritius develop their ability to cope with everyday challenges, identify and express their emotions, and explore constructive ways to address them. This integrated project aims to promote good mental health, positively influencing academic performance and the long term economic empowerment of vulnerable individuals. In 2025, the Poste de Flacq Government School, Camp Ithier Government School, and Mare La Chaux Government School, sponsored by Fondation Constance, benefitted from the Skills for Life programme, enabling pupils to develop socio emotional skills to better cope with life’s challenges and take care of their mental health. Fondation Constance sponsors young people who demonstrate a strong commitment to self improvement and future employability through tertiary education and vocational training. AILES (AIDE-INFOS LIBERTÉ-ESPOIR SOLIDARITÉ) AILES is an NGO engaged in the fight against HIV, Hepatitis C and syphilis in Mauritius. This is achieved through comprehensive harm reduction strategies and targeted actions designed to educate, protect, and support at-risk populations. AILES aims to create a healthier and safer community for all. Awareness sessions and rapid testing for HIV, syphilis, Hepatitis C and other STIs were organised during “La Semaine Internationale du Dépistage”. Centre d’Accueil de Terre-Rouge (CATR) In 2025, Fondation Constance continued to financially support the CATR, an NGO dedicated to counselling drug addicts and developing a programme to strengthen the prevention and treatment of drug addiction in Mauritius. CATR continued to provide counselling and sensitisation sessions to the community throughout the year under review. Ten individuals from the eastern region completed the residential rehabilitation programme offered at Terre Rouge. Constance Generosity Challenge – Link to Life To celebrate the the 50th anniversary of Constance Hotels, a non-stop cycling event was organised by Fondation Constance in collaboration with employees of the Constance Group. Participants were invited to pedal for 12 hours, taking turns on stationary bicycles installed across all the Group’s entities in Mauritius. Funds were raised in support of Link to Life as part of an initiative held under the banner of Pink October, the international breast cancer awareness month. This NGO is committed to cancer prevention and to improving the well-being of cancer patients through a range of holistic wellness programmes addressing their physical, emotional, and psychological needs. These services ensure that patients receive continuous support throughout their cancer journey. T1 Diams provides continuous, multidisciplinary support to people living with Type 1 diabetes in Mauritius and Rodrigues. Beneficiaries, ranging in age from 14 months to 78 years, receive optimal care through access to medical equipment, psychosocial support, and therapeutic education. This comprehensive approach enables members to adhere T1 Diams
to their treatment plans while maintaining a positive and healthy attitude, encouraging active participation in daily and social activities and fostering resilience. As a result, both beneficiaries and their parents are better prepared to face the challenges associated with diabetes. In 2025, Fondation Constance sponsored activities organised by T1 Diams for the benefit of people living in the eastern region of Mauritius, reaching approximately 140 direct beneficiaries. “T1 Diams can only continue to do everything we do today because of partners like you.”

Association Étoile de Mer
An NGO dedicated to the development of quality non formal education programmes for around 35 underprivileged children who are excluded from the formal education system in Mauritius. Six students who passed their National Certificate (NC) 2 examinations in 2025, will pursue their studies at NC3 level at MITD.

Primary School Achievement Certificate (PSAC) Scholarships
Fondation Constance believes in the empowerment of communities through education. Scholarships are awarded annually to the four best Primary School Achievement Certificate (PSAC) pupils from the Poste de Flacq Government School and the Flacq Post RCA School in Mauritius. These scholarships cover secondary studies and aim to enhance equitable access to quality secondary education, leading to relevant and effective learning outcomes. In 2025, 23 students benefitted from the scheme.
