Leisure and Sports Constance Cycling Academy

Protecting the Environment Protection of Animals Welfare Society (PAWS) The growing issue of stray dogs and cats in the vicinity of Constance Prince Maurice and Constance Belle Mare Plage, together with the implementation of new legislation concerning dogs and cats, underscores the necessity of collaborating with PAWS. This partnership aims to reduce the stray animal population through sterilisation programmes, rescue efforts, and rehoming initiatives where possible. Reef Conservation - Eco-Schools Programme, Rodrigues Reef Conservation is an NGO focused on environmental education and the promotion of sustainable development through global environmental expand its reach and impact in Rodrigues. With the support of Fondation Constance, Reef Conservation supported 25 schools, and trained over 50 educators and 800 students through individual in school education. In 2025, the programme continued to capacity-building. A total of 3 support sessions per school were conducted, covering environmental audits, action planning, and project implementation. Key achievements include the successful rollout of student led environmental projects and the awarding of Green Flag certification to a total of 5 additional schools, bringing the total to 20 in Rodrigues.

Supporting Persons with Disabilities Centre Joie de Vivre Fondation Constance continued to uphold its commitment as a socially responsible organisation by sponsoring the Centre Joie de Vivre in Mauritius. It made a partial contribution to the acquisition of musical instruments and other amenities for the well-being of the beneficiaries. In 2025, Fondation Constance supported Cerebral Palsy Family, an NGO that supports, guides, and assists individuals with cerebral palsy and similar disabilities, as well as their families, in improving mobility and autonomy and ultimately enhancing their quality of life. In this context, a specialised wheelchair was sponsored. Networking Community Working Group (CWG) Fondation Constance continued to collaborate with the CWG, under the aegis of the National Empowerment Foundation (Mauritius), which aims to bring together stakeholders from the civil service, as well as the public and private sectors, to brainstorm, discuss and implement projects and activities designed to empower vulnerable families and alleviate poverty in the eastern region of Mauritius. Fondation Constance supported a grassroots project dedicated to nurturing young talent, promoting healthy lifestyles, and strengthening community engagement through sports. The initiative aims to establish a structured, inclusive, and competitive football platform for under-15 youth across all districts of Mauritius. As part of this support, Fondation Constance sponsored football matches held over a weekend in the district of Flacq. “Moments like these inspire us to keep building inclusive, positive spaces for young Mauritian talents to grow— not just as athletes, but as confident, disciplined, and united citizens.” Partaz Enn Sourire

The Constance Cycling Academy and Faucon Flacq continue their steady progress, reflecting the Constance Group’s commitment to youth development and social inclusion. This partnership remains a strong pillar of Mauritian cycling, promoting social integration by offering both cycling opportunities and employment pathways for riders. To date, six individuals have been employed within the Constance Group across various roles, including drivers, assistant drivers, watchmen and pipe fitters in the irrigation sector. This demonstrates the Constance Group’s commitment to supporting long term social and professional integration. On the sporting front, progress has also been notable. As part of its ongoing efforts to support young riders through international internships and development programmes, Juliano N’driamanampy signed a contract to join Amani’s team and is expected to turn professional in 2027. This milestone reflects an achievement that strengthens our firm conviction that anything is possible through

waste reduction, and sustainable living, while

contributing to Education for Sustainable Development, the UNESCO Greening Education Partnership efforts, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The progress achieved in 2025 provides a strong foundation for continued improvement in 2026, particularly in supporting remaining schools in achieving Green Flag status and strengthening whole-school engagement in sustainability. Angazman Pou Enn Nouvo Sourir (APENS) APENS aims to promote education and lifelong learning, prevent drug-related risks, support vulnerable people, develop talents and skills, protect the environment, and foster community engagement in the eastern region of Mauritius. In 2025, with the financial support of Fondation Constance, APENS encouraged youth engagement in environmental protection by raising ecological awareness, promoting recycling, transforming waste into useful or artistic items, and fostering long-term eco responsible practices.
