// Due to the weather conditions: Abandonment of the MCB Tour Championship 2022

The torrential rains that have been falling on Mauritius for the past two days have fnally got the better of the determination of the players and organisers of the MCB Tour Championship 2022. In a press release today, the tournament offcials announced the abandonment of the biggest golf tournament played on Mauritian soil. A fnal attempt to complete the “Legend Tour” will take place tomorrow at Constance Belle Mare Plage. The communiqué : We regrettably inform you of the abandonment of the MCB Tour Championship – Mauritius. The Legends Tour has made a decision, in conjunction with the sponsor MCB, to continue play in order to complete 18 holes and declare a result for the Alliance Competition. All players are to be in position ready to play at 10:30hrs Sunday morning (3rd April) This decision is subject to favourable weather & course conditions, but we may have to re-assess in the morning. MCB have generously agreed to compensate each player with €4,000. This gesture is in recognition of your pro-am participation and incredible efforts to complete the tournament this week.
