News Competitions Haeggman won in the Seychelles  December 6, 2022  Frederick Richter  0 comments Joakim Haeggman has been close several times to winning on the Legends Tour, but has not managed to tie the knot. Until now. This weekend, the Smålander hit the MCB Tour Championship in the Seychelles and with a fantastic closing round of 66 strokes came the long-awaited victory. Haeggman exited the fnal lap in a split lead. He shook of a bogey on the second and made birdies on holes 4, 5 and 6 and then an eagle on the ninth hole to take a three-stroke lead over Markus Brier. There were three bogeys on the last nine holes but also three birdies and on the 18th hole the 53-year-old could stretch his arms to the sky, hug his long-time caddy Joey Jones and celebrate his frst victory on the Legends Tour. - I am so happy to fnally win a competition again. I've been good in some competitions before, including in Italy a few weeks ago, but there the last day was a nightmare so the pressure was big on me today in the leader
