Liam Botham wins the Celebrity Series Grand Final

2 min For two years the Legends Tour, the European Over 50 circuit, has included an event within an event in its seasonal programme, the Wapp Celebrity Series , an initiative that involves legends of international sport in a fun competition parallel to the pro competitions. The aim is to raise funds to help important research and treatment centers for the most invasive diseases. On Thursday 6 and Friday 7 December, simultaneously with the two Pro-Ams Constance Hotels frst and MCB afterwards, the best ten of the 2023 season among the sports stars of the past also faced each other, to contribute to the respective charities selected on the occasion of the fnal.

Defending the title, the legend of Celtic and the Irish national team of the 90s, Packie Bonner, who won by the skin of his teeth last year on the 1996 Formula 1 world champion, Damon Hill.


