The 17th Constance Food Festival was successfully held in Mauritius
At the awards ceremony held on March 16, the winners of the four trophies (Deutz Award, Régis Marcon Award, Pierre Hermé Award, and Jars Art of the Table Award) were announced in sequence. The 17th Constance Gourmet Festival invited the well-respected and well-known French Michelin three-star chef Régis Marcon to join the judging panel of the food competition, and the award was named Régis Marcon. The jury for the Deutz Award and the Régis Marcon Award consists of Patrick Bertron (two-Michelin-starred chef), Orjan Johannessen (gold medalist at the Bocuse d’Or in 2015), Sebastian Gibrand (silver medalist at the Bocuse d’Or in 2019) and It is composed of several other well-known celebrities including Benjamin Gallein (two-Michelin starred chef). The six Michelin one-star chefs competing for the Deutz Award and the Régis Marcon Award come from all over the world, including Wang Bin from The Georg Restaurant in China, Robert Chambers from the United Kingdom, Thomas Sjogren from Sweden, Yohann Chapuis and Mathieu Martin from France, and Maurizio Oster of Germany.
