French chef. The culinary expert has four decades of experience at the helm of the famous Maison Marcon in Saint-Bonnet-Le-Froid. Together with his son Jacques, Régis helped the restaurant gain its iconic reputation in the gastronomic world. Dedication to his craf, love of the region and commitment to sourcing exceptional ingredients contributed to the success and distinction of his cuisine. He lived out Marcon's passion for passing on gustatory knowledge and skills as a mentor for chefs of all levels. He also wrote the book “Défi Gourmand” for the Bocuse d'Or Academy, which deals with the preparation of cooking competitions. So it made sense to work with the Constance Festival Culinaire, which focuses on conveying the skills of renowned star chefs. “For many years, the Constance Festival Culinaire has been an unmissable event for Mauritius lovers and everyone dedicated to the culinary art. It is a great honor for me to chair the upcoming event together with my friend Pierre Hermé," says Régis Marcon and emphasizes: "I would like to do this for chef Serge Vieira and his family, who had a deep afection for the country and its ambience "We want to keep a special memory.
