Prepare your taste buds for a week-long celebration of favors hosted by talented chefs from around the world. A little original traditions, vibrant Mauritian culture and local products are all you need to make your holiday memorable for a long time! Mauritius is called “the island where food awaits you everywhere.” It’s hard to disagree with this: local cuisine was formed under the infuence of African, French, Chinese and Indian culinary customs. The island simultaneously delights tourists with street food, tropical fruits, fery spices and seafood - the fresh catch will be prepared literally before your eyes. You will rarely fnd coconut milk in local curry, but it will certainly contain thyme and other herbs that are well known to fans of European gastronomy. With each new festival, Constance Culinaire enhances the rich traditions of the island, as well as the skills of the chefs of the hotel restaurants. During all events they use products that are grown and produced on the island. They defne the whole essence of real Mauritian cuisine: putting a piece of any of the local dishes into your mouth, you will feel a harmonious symphony of taste that will take you to the very heart of the island of Mauritius. The Gastronomic Festival program is designed in such a way that everyone can fnd something to their liking. Whether it’s a tasting of delicious dishes in one of the restaurants of Constance Belle Mare Plage and Constance Prince Maurice or an interactive master class, after which you can please your loved ones with your favorite dish from Mauritius, prepared with your own hands - it is simply impossible to remain indiferent. You can taste Mauritius at any time of the year in the restaurants of Constance Hotels & Resorts. At Constance Prince Maurice, the only foating restaurant on the island, located within the national park, awaits its guests. Le Barachois ofers a romantic candlelit dinner with gourmet seafood among the mangroves. Connoisseurs of historical wines will defnitely appreciate the Archipel restaurant, which will help you choose the best bottle from the 25,000 bottles stored in the largest wine cellar in the region. Constance Belle Mare Plage will also not disappoint gourmets with the choice of dishes and the cozy atmosphere of the resort's restaurants and bars.
