“This week was as busy as it could be,” says Constance Hospitality Management sommelier Jerome Faure. “We have been privileged to witness the demonstration of unique skills by chefs from all over the world, including those who collaborate with the Constance hotel chain. They competed in preparing dishes and desserts, and also willingly shared their knowledge of haute cuisine with colleagues. Murcott, Patrick Bertron and Jerome de Oliveira conducted master classes, which were highly appreciated by the guests. The Constance Festival Culinaire has once again lived up to its well-deserved reputation,” emphasizes Jérôme. The 17th Constance Festival Culinaire was honored by the presence of the French chef Regis Marcon, the owner of his own nomination in the competition. The award in his name was presented to the duo of Michelin-starred chef Tomar Sjögren of the Swedish restaurant Signum and Neeraj Bisnautsing of Constance Prince Maurice. The winners of the Deutz Trophy were the chef of the Zeik restaurant in Germany and Michelin star winner Maurizio Oster. Ravindu Uluvaduge from the Constance Moofushi Maldives team and Belgian pastry chef Marc Dukobu won the Best Dessert category.
