The award ceremony for the winners of the 17th Constance Festival Culinaire took place - INFORM JOURNAL
Jars Arts de la Table Trophy categories were Karine Bienvenu and Andrew Joseph, respectively: both chefs work at Constance Prince Maurice. Local cuisine was also included in the spotlight this year—the festival announced winners in the categories “Best Island Chili Dessert” and “Best Island Sweet Potato Dessert.” Ashna Bundhu and Sobratti Razia received awards in them. The jury evaluating participants in various categories included: winner of two Michelin stars from Germany Benjamin Hallein, winner of the previous festival in the Regis Marcon Trophy category Romuald Fassenet, “Best Sommelier in the World in 1992” Philippe Faure-Brac, as well as culinary blogger and chef - Cook Murcott together with the legendary French pastry chef Pierre Hermé. In addition to recognized industry experts, all fans of the festival could vote for their favorites online. The week of taste and new gastronomic discoveries ended with an awards ceremony.
