The C Kite Festival In anticipation of the Olympics, freestyle enthusiasts gathered from 27 to 30 June, in the southern hemisphere, for a kite festival hosted at C Mauritius, the frst property of C Resorts, the sister lifestyle brand of the award-winning hotel group Constance Hotels & Resorts , on the east coast of Mauritius, in one of the most sought-after spots for kitesurfers from all over the world.

To rush to the call of Antoine Auriol, former surfer, kitesurfer winner of the Professional World Tour in 2010, documentary flmmaker and digital content creator, currently resident at C Mauritius, athletes of the caliber of the English champion Tom Court, world champion in 2023 (Fliteboard specialty) and freeride specialist, the young Spanish champion Noah Nicolas, the French Edgar Ulrich, Junior World Champion in 2018, Louka Pitot 5 times French Champion and two-time Junior World Champion, as well as hundreds of amateur practitioners, in love with this discipline. Love and respect for nature Antoine Auriol, the true soul of the festival, explained how the values of kitesurfng of community, love and respect for nature, fun and competition, are the same that are found in the value system of C Mauritius, a resort that aims to promote sustainability, grow the local community, put it in contact with visitors, allow its guests to enjoy and enjoy one of the most beautiful places in the world, in a respectful and absolutely non-invasive way, in an elegant environment, but at the same time informal and fun. And with this in mind, the numerous activities (tricks show, freeride, regattas) were organized in which champions and amateurs participated, in the beautiful lagoon in front of C Mauritius. A unique place, where the roar of the waves of the Indian Ocean, crashing on the coral reef, is the background to the spectacular alternation of colors of the crystal clear water that always shows its seabed, up to the decline of the white sandy shoreline, which separates the sea from the green hinterland of the island.
