Mauritius, 20 February 2024 – Sharing, creativity and valorisation of local products: these are the ingredients of the Constance Festival Culinaire 2024 . The most anticipated gastronomic event in the Indian Ocean, from Friday 8 to Saturday 16 March , will bring together the stars of international cuisine and epicureans from all over the world at Constance Belle Mare Plage and Constance Prince Maurice , the properties that express warm Mauritian hospitality in the name of excellence signed by Constance Hotels & Resorts . Having become an essential point of reference in the international culinary calendar, now in its 17th edition, the festival will once again this year see Michelin-starred chefs and renowned Pastry Chefs working in pairs with chefs from the various Constance Hotels & Resorts properties in Mauritius, to the Maldives and the Seychelles. It is no coincidence that the event celebrates the sharing and exchange of skills and know-how between professionals and enthusiasts of cooking and pastry making, in a spirit of light-heartedness and friendship. The result, the result of the meeting between local traditions and international infuences, will as always be astonishing: enveloping favors for the palate, unexpected combinations for the sight and inebriating aromas for the sense of smell. The edition promises to be stellar also thanks to the new collaboration with the French chef Régis Marcon , 3 Michelin stars at the Maison Marcon in Saint-Bonnet-Le-Froid, managed together with his son Jacques. Chef Marcon, who shares with Constance the passion for transmitting gastronomic knowledge and skills to emerging talents and cooking enthusiasts, will be part of the jury of the culinary competition which, not surprisingly, will be called the "Régis Marcon Trophy". But this won't be the only competition. In fact, like every year, the Constance Festival Culinaire program will offer an exciting series of events, with four main competitions:

Deutz Trophy Régis Marcon Trophy Pierre Hermé Trophy Jars Art of the Table Trophy
