SEPTEMBER 26, 2023 - CONSTANCE HOTELS CONSTANCE FESTIVAL CULINAIRE: THE NOVELTY FOR 2024 IS THE PRESTIGIOUS COLLABORATION WITH THE THREE STARRED FRENCH CHEF RÉGIS MARCON FOR AN EXTRAORDINARY 17TH EDITION. Constance Hotels & Resorts antcipates the news of the 17th editon of the Constance Festval Culinaire, the haute cuisine event that every year atracts talented chefs and epicureans from all over the world to Mauritus. From 9 to 16 March 2024, in fact, the elite of internatonal food and wine will meet at Constance Belle Mare Plage and Constance Prince Maurice, to share carefree moments in the name of passion for cooking. The award-winning hotel group, leader in luxury hospitality in the Indian Ocean, proudly announces a new illustrious collaboraton, which will embellish the 2024 editon of the Constance Festval Culinaire, the one with the 3 Michelin star French chef Régis Marcon. With four decades of experience at the helm of the famous Maison Marcon in Saint-Bonnet Le-Froid, and together with his son Jacques, Régis has transformed the restaurant into an iconic culinary paradise. Marcon, author of the book "Déf Gourmand" for the Bocuse d'Or Academy, shares with Constance a passion for transmitng culinary knowledge and skills to emerging talents and enthusiasts. "For many years now, the Constance Festval Culinaire has been considered an unmissable event for gastronomy enthusiasts and all those dedicated to the culinary and pastry arts. I am deeply honored to co-chair this event together with my friend Pierre Hermé” comments Régis Marcon then contnues: "A special thought goes to chef Serge Vieira and his family, who had a deep afecton for this land; we wish to carry on his spirit of sharing. I am happy to collaborate with the Constance Hotels & Resorts team in a friendly and creatve atmosphere". As in previous editons, chefs from Constance propertes will collaborate with Michelin-starred chefs from around the world, in a spirit of sharing and exchanging skills and know-how. Partcipants and guests will have the opportunity to savor dishes created by stars of internatonal cuisine, who will showcase their talent by creatng unique and original dishes. There will be various gastronomic compettons evaluated by expert juries and there will be workshops and collateral events such as gourmet dinners and tastngs, which will enrich the already rich programme. From 9 to 16 March 2024, local traditons will merge with internatonal infuences, giving life to a surprising and engaging event, full of favors and unexpected combinatons. The renowned Deutz Champagne, in fact, will once again partner of the event: since the birth of the Festval in 2006, Deutz adds a touch of elegance to moments of sharing As antcipated by chef Marcon, the festval maintains its collaboraton with the famous pastry chef Pierre Hermé, who has partcipated in the event since 2016. Recognized worldwide for his exceptonal creatvity, Hermé presides over the festval's pastry competton, adding a refned and sweet touch to the event.
