Mauritius: the Constance Festival Culinarie – Sarah Scaparone returns in March

But let ' s get back to the news: from 11 to 19 March the Constance Festival Culinaire will get underway , the most famous gastronomic event in the Indian Ocean, now in its 16th edition. Change the name, but not the substance. During the week of the festival, hosted at Constance Belle Mare Plage, Michelin-starred chefs and internationally renowned pastry chefs share their passion for their work and their experiences with the chefs and guests of the resort: as in past editions, four competitions will be held during such as Bernard Loiseau and Pierre Hermé , will once again be linked to the event with two dedicated prizes. There will be special dinners and masterclasses at Constance Belle Mare Plage and Constance Prince Maurice. Six ' Constance Chefs ' from resorts in Mauritius, the Maldives and Seychelles will cook with six 1 Michelin Star chefs, who will travel from all over Europe to attend the event. Among these there is also the Italian Riccardo Gaspari of the starred restaurant SanBrite in Cortina d ' Ampezzo. Born in 1985, after an important experience in Osteria Francescana together with Massimo Bottura, Riccardo Gaspari opens SanBrite in 2017 and chooses to lighten the Ampezzo recipes while maintaining their favors and identity, to tell the tradition according to his vision.
